9/1/2023 0 Comments Wunderground weather app![]() ![]() So IBM is "killing" Wunderground, but they also developed a new computer model called IBM GRAF. Easy to quickly glance at and know what the weather's going to be. The Weather Channel - accurate in my area. NOAA Weather Unofficial - for looking at NWS forecasts for your area. Makes everyone else's radar images look like garbage. It's a really good radar app if you're interested in that - takes data straight from the NWS, doesn't smooth anything over. RadarScope - this one costs $10, and then has a couple of pro subscriptions if you want to buy them. With the Gold sub, you can edit the graphs it shows you to look somewhat comparable to Wunderground, where they showed temp and chance of precip on the same graph. There is a free two week trial for the different subscriptions. I got the $20/year "Gold" subscription, and highly recommend it. Different layers let you see what's coming, like precipitation or wind or barometric pressure. Not a good current condition app, but a forecasting one. ![]() I highly recommend:ÄŻlowx - it lets you see the computer models behind everyone's forecasts. ![]() After researching different apps, I came across a few I didn't know about, and now I use all 10. Thanks to Wunderground "going down," I now have 10 weather apps (only had 3 before). ![]()
